The S-ISW (Online) is a questionnaire, developed by ISW Limits in collaboration with the Catholic University of Leuven (KULeuven; Reserahc group for Stress, Health and Well-being). It is a handy and compact tool to track down psycho-social and organisational risk factors quickly and efficiently and to check up on their effect on well-being, motivation, and undesirable behaviour at work. Moreover, the questionnaire also measures your employees’ job satisfaction.
The S-ISW Online is completed online and processed automatically. This online version of the questionnaire S-ISW has been developed with the support of the ESF (European Social Fund) and FPSF ELSD ( Federal Public Service Employment, Labour and Social Dialogue).
Moreover, the S-ISW fully complies with the legal duties concerning the measurement of well-being and mobbing.
When should the S-ISW (Online) be used?

For a quick, yet clear, screening: to comply with the legal requirements and to gain information concerning well-being.

As a tool to detect risk groups or risk factors on which work can then be done.

As follow-up tool, in order to evaluate certain actions within the framework of well-being.

The S-ISW Online is ideal in cases where all the employees have easy access to the Internet and are in possession of an e-mail address.
To summarize…
The S-ISW is a clear and concise tool that is easy to use. Its contents are flexible: it is easy to add extra questions (e.g. regarding safety, neglect, health behaviour, leadership and ergonomics of the work place). The S-ISW allows for quick processing. The results are offered with benchmark data (35000 observations originating from 80 organizations, february 2008). The graphical report of results is presented in a comprehensible manner. This measurement is available in English, Dutch, French, and German, both on paper and online.
A standard project with the S-ISW Online consists of the following stages :
- preparatory consultation with the client and formation of a steering committee for the project
- sensitization of the employees to the project
- standard questionnaire S-ISW (content)
- online survey by means of the S-ISW (via e-mail and Internet)
- data cleaning and analyses
- graphical report of results
- presentation of results to the client, with conclusions and first recommandations as to actions to prevent stress and promote well-being at work
